Biometrics for Smart Cities


Project Details 計畫內容概述

The goal of this project aims to create a Platform for an efficient support of the city services to ensure public safety. The team at NTUST will focus on facial biometric technologies for city services such as facial surveillance, facial verification and soft facial biometrics applications, which will lead to efficient solutions for public safety and provide the convenience required by a smart city; the team at Calgary will concentrate on risk assessment using facial biometrics in both visual and infrared spectra, as well as behavioral biometrics.

本計劃目標是創建一個有效支持智慧城市服務以確保公共安全的平台。我方 (NTUST) 團隊注於人臉識別認證與人臉屬性相關識別,旨在從監控系統中找到目標人臉,並挑戰多變數環境下之識別,這將為公共安全提供有效的解決方案,且為智慧城市提供所需的基礎設施;而加拿大(Calgary)團隊將集中精力於使用視覺與紅外線光譜中的臉部與行為生物特徵,進行開發生物認證風險評估策略。
