2026 IEEE SMC Workshop 4:
AI-Empowered Industry Applications
2026 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (SMC 2026), is to be held October 4–7, 2026 in the vibrant city of Bellevue, WA, USA.
Under the theme “Human-Centric Intelligence: Shaping the Digital Future”, SMC 2026 will bring leading experts from academia, industry, and government to explore how cutting-edge advancements in systems science, human-machine interaction, and cybernetics can drive meaningful progress for humanity. The conference will serve as a vital forum to discuss the challenges and opportunities of designing intelligent systems that prioritize human well-being and societal benefit.
With recent rapid development in AI, traditional industry applications have gone through big revolution. With the use of AI techniques, dramatical increases in research has been devoted into this area, such as those topics in IoT, robotics, human-machine systems, smart manufacturing, digital twin, GAI, cybernetic security, etc. Most of those topics are related to our society. It is our purpose to attract those researchers of our SMCS events, especially those from industry. The "WS4: AI-Empowered Industry Applications" intends to have a mixture of invited keynote talks, full paper presentations and open discussion with the organizers for the related research topics among those participating centers and universities.
This workshop aims to showcase the latest developments of AI technologies and their industrial applications. We will invite 2 keynote speakers either from the AI-related industry or who have years of experiences in AI developments. The organizers from Taiwan, USA, Hungary, and Spain will invite researchers around the world to submit papers that are related to AI-empowered industry applications to this workshop. We especially welcome student participants to join this workshop. We plan to provide some travel supports to each student participant in the WS4: AI-Empowered Industry Applications. More details about this student travel support will be announced later.
